The making of spirits before your eyes

Pakruojo Manor’s distillery is one of the most authentic places on the estate, where spirits were produced in the 19th century not only for the manor’s pharmacy but also for grand celebrations. Today, the ancient craft of spirit distillation has been brought back to life here.

In the Baron’s Distillery Workshops, every guest becomes a creator:

• learn about the history of manor spirits in the 19th century and the traditions of spirit distillation;
• visit the historic Pakruojis Manor distillery;
• discover the herbs and spices that shape the character of each spirit;
• learn the basics of distillation;
• create your own recipe;
• use a small copper still to make your own signature spirit;
• bottle it, give it a name, and label it with your own personalised label.

Each recipe you create is unique, inspired by Pakruojis Manor’s history, nature, and centuries-old traditions. It is not simply a drink you have made yourself, but also a personal souvenir and a memory that cannot be recreated anywhere else.
