Dancing in the breeze, fields swaying with grains, a park covered in flower pollen, fairies fluttering through a magical forest, and mischievous elves hiding among the herbs…
Inspired by Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” this festival is Europe’s largest celebration combining summer flowers, historic architecture, and visual and performing arts.
FESTIVAL PROGRAM
Escape from the ordinary into the fantastical realm of Shakespeare’s play, where you’ll encounter millions of flowers, captivating mechanical theater shows, daring acrobatic feats, and lively circus performers. Incredible adventures await adults, and there’s daily fun for children too!
DISCOVERIES IN FLOWERS
The largest flower festival in Northern Europe, themed “Déjà vu Among the Grains.”
Perhaps everyone experiences déjà vu at least once in their lives – the feeling that something happening now has happened before. Various memories and journeys through the past can be triggered by scents or sights. The impressive summer flower festival at Pakruojis Manor will not only evoke memories but also inspire new discoveries.
So it’s no surprise that this year’s theme is “Déjà vu Among the Grains.” Yes, the festival’s countless flower beds and seas of blooms will be enhanced… with grains. A hundred years ago, barons cultivated grains for business purposes, but this year, the grain fields will be transformed into artworks, becoming an unexpected highlight of the manor’s gardens.
On a 15-hectare site, you can immerse yourself in Shakespeare’s world: explore a park filled with gigantic sculptures created by renowned Lithuanian artists such as Martynas Gaubas, Donatas Mockus, and Andrius Petkus.
