Pakruojis Manor, a five-century-old estate, has been ruled by several lords: the noble Zabielka family, the Münster counts, and most famously, the von der Ropp barons, whose lives are surrounded by various legends about unusual European manor entertainments. From the ladies’ love for fortune-telling to the doctor’s eerie collection of oddities, this manor is filled with stories of tragic love, unfortunate events, and ghostly tales that persist to this day.
Eager to uncover the manor’s centuries-old mysteries, the manor’s oracle has taken up the task of investigating unusual phenomena. Using her esoteric tools, she organizes a ghost hunt at Pakruojis Manor. In this unique, theatrical experience, participants will explore the darkest corners of the manor: the punishment cellar, the manor’s panopticon, and other secret spaces. Equipped with electronic paranormal sensors, participants will embark on a ghost hunt.

During this educational experience, participants will learn about the tools used to detect paranormal activity, how to use them, and hear spine-chilling local legends about ghosts and how people used to protect themselves. Participants will not only witness but also get to touch the darkest details of 19th-century life: the harshest torture and punishment devices of the time, the cabinet of curiosities with a unique artifact from the baron’s doctor, and in Fortune’s Salon, the baronesses’ games. And in the only Postmortem Room in the Baltic states, they will experience 19th-century funeral artifacts…
But that’s not all!
After the ghost hunt, participants can visit the MYSTICAL SHOP, where they can find tools for ghost hunting, protective talismans, crystals, and other magical curiosities.
And if you wish, the oracle will recommend a personal talisman.
To ensure this visit remains unforgettable, after the Postmortem Room program, participants are invited to capture another memorable experience with the Pakruojis Manor Photographer. The talented master of photography will stop time in a retro photograph. It was once believed that photographers could steal a person’s soul and immortalize it in a photo. The manor’s portraitist uses ancient methods, and the photoshoot is done with an old camera, following the style of the time, requiring subjects to remain still for 3-4 seconds. In the photo lab, guests will witness the magical process of photo development, which never fails to amaze both children and adults!
Fee: 1 photo – €10.
