The Baron’s right-hand man—the steward—will invite you to take part in a program that combines history, culture, and traditions in one unforgettable excursion. You will visit the manor palace, learn about its history, try to uncover the secret of the Baron’s special drink, feel a slight chill in the only punishment cellar in Lithuania, and also visit a historic distillery, where you will discover traditional beverage-making methods. Accompanied by the steward, you will also visit an old brewery, where the respected third-generation Žaldoks will share interesting stories about beer and let you taste different varieties—you will learn what “first,” “second,” and “third” brews are. Afterwards, you will be treated to a manor-style lunch and free time in the manor grounds—you’ll be able to explore exhibitions, visit craftsmen, and enjoy the atmosphere and program of the vibrant flower festival.
This is a fun, “masculine” (but suitable for everyone) introduction to the manor, rich in discoveries and flavors.
“Bumbulis” – this is how manor workers or servants were called at Pakruojis Manor.
