What is Bumbulinės?

Pakruojis Manor has long been known for its large and thriving estate. Traditionally, grand festivals would be held to celebrate the beginning and end of farm work. Today, the manor brings this tradition back to life with Bumbulinės, a festive event that originally saw the barons of the manor (the von der Ropp family) hosting a celebration to thank their workers (known as “bumbulai”) for their hard work by inviting the best brewers from the region to take part.

World Cepelinai Eating Championship

A challenge for the strongest stomachs

During the Bumbulinės festival, thesecond World Cepelinai Eating Championship will take place!

The very first event of this scale, held last year, proved that conquering the pride of Lithuanian cuisine – cepelinai – in large quantities is no easy task.

That’s why this year we once again invite everyone who loves both challenges and cepelinai to join this extraordinary championship.

Participants will be rewarded not only with honor, but also with special prizes.

The first such championship in the world, held last year, exceeded all expectations – the audience was amazed both by the number of cepelinai eaten and by the difficulty of the challenge. But this year promises to be even more spectacular!

More information on participation opportunities – coming soon.
