When the abundance, splendour, extravagance, ornamentation and surprises characteristic of the Baroque era meet the richest season of the year and the creative team of the manor… an unprecedented, large-scale autumn harvest and art festival, BAROQUE AUTUMN, is born in Lithuania.

During the festival, the richness of autumn, enhanced by human creativity and imagination, transforms the manor into one grand and magnificent autumn stage. It features not only intricately winding Baroque carpets made of nature’s bounty, elegant arches created from natural materials, sculptures and harvest compositions, but also an engaging and bustling Baroque market, unexpected colourful characters and aristocratic manor-life experiences for the whole family.

Be enchanted by what nature has grown and what people have created!

AT THE FESTIVAL

Every weekend

GIANT BAROQUE ORNAMENTS AND AUTUMN DECORATIONS

The manor’s flower beds, which delighted visitors with their blooms in spring and summer, have taken on a completely different form this autumn. In their place are enormous ornamental carpets made from autumn produce, unlike anything seen elsewhere in the world in their scale. They feature the symmetry, flowing curves, botanical motifs and lavishness characteristic of the Baroque style. Everything that has grown in gardens, vegetable patches and fields has been transformed at our manor this autumn into impressive-scale open-air art.

Arches of autumn decorations, elaborate harvest compositions, winding patterns made from nature’s bounty and the centuries-old manor park turning golden will invite you to marvel and endlessly admire every autumn moment at the manor.

ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE BUZZ OF THE BAROQUE MARKET

At the market, a true spectacle of sights and flavours awaits – from colourful jugglers to fire eaters, from the finest produce of the manor farm to delicacies. There will be no shortage of unexpected, playfully cheeky characters, music, Baroque discoveries and the colourful bustle of manor life.

Manor farm and autumn produce. The richly decorated stalls will showcase produce grown or made on the manor farm: vegetables, fruits, herbs, honey, bread, cheeses, fish, treats and handicrafts. The vendors will loudly praise their goods, invite you to taste and bargain, and share more than one amusing story about their origins.

Wandering performers and unexpected characters. Wandering circus performers will also appear at the market. You will encounter a juggler, a fire eater and a breathtaking knife thrower. The performers will appear unexpectedly in different locations, involving the audience in their tricks. You may even meet a proud gentleman in a hat introducing himself as the manor’s steward.

Games and challenges for visitors. The bravest will be able to test their accuracy, strength or balance, solve riddles posed by the characters and help the guards find a scoundrel hiding somewhere in the market.

Nothing at the Baroque market will happen quietly or conventionally: a vendor may suddenly burst into song, while a fortune teller may predict a delicious purchase. It will be a lively, noisy and colourful world that visitors will not simply observe – they will become part of it.

THE MOST EXCITING AUTUMN ACTIVITIES AND DISCOVERIES FOR LITTLE ONES:

🎃 Pumpkin Decorating

Little hands – big imagination! Children can decorate pumpkins, create funny faces for them and turn them into colourful autumn characters.

🎨 Face Painting

🏃 Games and Fun Races

🐐 Meeting the Animals of the Manor Farm

After all the fun, it’s time for a tasty break. The festival will offer plenty of autumn treats, delicious goodies and flavours loved by little ones. And at the Baroque market, you’ll meet colourful and unexpected characters – from a juggler to a fire-eater and a fortune-telling witch.

☕ Warm Drinks

On a cooler autumn day, a cup of warm drink will warm little hands and rosy cheeks – making it cosy whatever the weather.
