GREAT RENAISSANCE AND FLOWER DISCOVERIES

  • Workshops of technology and inventions. Here you’ll find an impressive collection of old agricultural machinery, tools, engines, and tractors. Discover Renaissance inventions such as the printing press, steam engine, bicycle, diving suit, springs, arquebus, Jacob’s staff, self-propelled cart, and more.

  • The first Lithuanian book“Catechism” by Martynas Mažvydas, published in 1547. Created during the Renaissance in Lithuania – see and listen to it near the manor palace.

  • Excursion “The Language of Flowers” and Living Picture. Discover the secrets of flowers on a tour with the baron’s daughter, then capture yourself in a Living Picture with the manor photographer.

  • Discoveries in the Manor Beacon Tower. Through projections, set out to rediscover the world together with the great Renaissance travelers.

  • “The Birth of Venus.” Capture yourself in an installation of one of the world’s most famous paintings.

  • Renaissance art masterpieces. In the manor park, admire famous Renaissance paintings surrounded by tulips and spring flowers.

  • Discoveries of human anatomy in the Panopticon. Here you will also encounter unexpected, sometimes even dark artifacts of aristocratic hobbies.

  • Renaissance-era market. Enjoy flavors and aromas, purchase spring flower bulbs, and meet the inhabitants of the manor farm.

GREAT MANOR DISCOVERIES

  • Punishment cellar. Frightening discoveries in the only punishment cellar in Lithuania.
  • Historic manor distillery. Visit the restored distillery where award-winning flavors are created and see authentic copper distillation equipment.
  • Brewery. The manor brewer will explain why Pakruojis became the beer capital of Lithuania and share brewing secrets.
  • Manor palace. Explore the palace with the Baron – its history, rulers, and secrets (extra charge).
  • Retro game hall. Visit the legendary pinball machines from the Prohibition era.
  • Carriage, retro automobile. Ride in a horse-drawn carriage or vintage cars (extra charge).
  • Distorting mirrors. Visit the funhouse mirrors near the workshop and enjoy a laugh.
  • Manor farm. Visit the farm with horses, geese, ducks, a donkey, and more.

  • 12:45, 13:45, 15:00, 16:00 – In the manor Panopticon, secret aristocratic hobbies come to light.
  • 13:00, 14:00, 15:15 – Manor beekeeper tells about the sweet life of bees.
  • 14:30, 15:45 – Story about manor flavors and the benefits of fermented vegetables.
  • 12:30, 14:30, 16:00 – Introduction to historical photography in the manor photo studio.

DISCOVERIES FOR CHILDREN

  • Galileo Galilei theatrical workshop. Children will meet the famous scientist and learn about his discoveries.
  • Spring workshops. Creative activities – making flower crowns and masks, drawing, mandala coloring, folding windmills.
  • Sun photography. Opportunity to explore this unique art form.
  • Outdoor games. In good weather – bean bag toss, ball throwing, ring toss, and more.
  • Playground. Colorful carousel, fair organ, and the magical Flower Castle.
  • Manor farm. Meet animals – horses, chickens, sheep, rabbits – and feed them.
